No, it's modified 7900 GT base with the Cell architecture.
That's the RSX. The Cell and the RSX was made at the same time when develop the architecture.
And believe me, the RSX alone is allready 1.2 teraflop calculation power.
The RSX is not a PC GPU it's a Cell GPU ;)
You got it wrong, the cell is not competing the GPU.
The RSX is also very powerfull like the cell, but the RSX is not efficient like the Cell and that's why the SPU and the Cell come in :)
They have a very powerfull RSX, you will see that in near future.

It's incredibly that people think that a multiplatform game looks better than a first party platform from GG Killzone 3.
